Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, a musician's daughter born in Mexico was born to a music-loving family. She spent most of her early years listening to classical music Boleros from the past, ranchero traditional or romantic songs along with old classical pieces. Ana is a fan of tangos, as well as opera and dramatic performances. Ana started learning how to play and sing at an early age together with her mom. She was given more formal singing instruction when she reached the age of 16 old, under the legendary Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. Her musical education continued at the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and afterward in the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. In Guadalajara and Mexico City, she was an active member of numerous opera choruses and chamber ensembles. When she moved from Mexico to America around 2000, she performed in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She is a frequent soloist at events, private parties and other occasions and performs traditional Latin American Music. She is involved with many local projects in both teaching and performer, because of her passion for music and arts. Ana is also a past part of the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana thanks the Inland Master Choir for allowing her to perform the traditional Latin American song.
