Rosalia
Rosalia Vila is an Spanish pop and flamenco artist. Since her teenage years she has been involved in popular music and flamenco. Also, she has explored various genres, including hip-hop soul and trap. Pepe Haichuela, flamenco guitarist and well-known musician, has described the sound of the new artist as sweet and sharp however with a bite. El Mal Querer, her follow-up album to Los Angeles in 2017, has been a huge critical as well as commercial success. It topped the Billboard Latin Pop Albums Chart and was awarded the Grammy. In 2021, the song La Fama with The Weeknd came out. Motomami came out as her third full-length album. The album featured collaborations on songwriting with other artists and producers, including Cory Henry. It was released on the 20th of March, 2022 in the wake of the live performance of Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia was the first Spanish soloist to appear on Saturday Night Live. In addition to winning three more Latin Grammy Awards for Motomami Rosalia, she also became the first female to be awarded this award twice. Latin Album of the Year twice.
